Materials and recommendations developed based on the results of the “I'm a Teacher” study
Teachers' versatile and digital skills were tested, and their ability to develop functional literacy in students — the ability to apply the acquired skills and knowledge in everyday life — was assessed. Practical recommendations for how teachers can strengthen their skills in these areas were developed based on the results.
The Yandex Education Initiative conducted this research in order to better understand how to help teachers in their professional development.
More than 100,000 people from various regions of Russia took part in the study. 49,748 school teachers passed the Modern and Successful Teacher Competency test, 63,365 — Teacher Digital Competency, and 40,490 — Teacher Competency for the Formation of Functional Student Literacy. Check out the study.
